These amazing 3D Botanical Flower Constructions were designed by Anne Ten Donkelaar. Anne is an artist from Utrecht, The Netherlands, who was obsessed with flowers, she says “I was fascinated by the many colors and forms they took.”
Anne loves traveling. Her works were inspired by her “unique discoveries” during traveling including a damaged butterfly, a broken twig, a bumblebee, and some strangely grown weeds. With her specialist in 3D Product Design, she creates amazing “3D Botanical Flower Constructions” that are composed of pressed real flowers and paper cutouts in vibrant colors as well as roots and leaves, all fastened with pins of different heights to create the depth and dimension to the pieces, resulting unique layout.
Anne Ten Donkelaar has some other interesting artworks made with butterflies and other insects. You can visit her website here.
